This artist catalogue to promote an exhibition of paintings by Martin Dutton for an exhibition at the Hoyle Gallery in Halifax. Design, artwork and studio photography for the project were all carried out by White Mountain.

Martin Dutton is a Devon based painter with a strong connection to the north of England having taught art at Bradford College for over a decade. His work has a bold physical presence and visual lyricism and belongs to that rich tradition of northern romantic response to the light and colour of the natural world, yet they also contain within them deeper meanings and references as our imagination.
